Fairmont Pacific Rim is Vancouver’s definitive luxury hotel—rated the World’s Best Business Hotel by Condé Nast Traveler readers and awarded the coveted Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Ratings. As Social Media Manager at Fairmont Pacific Rim, I was hired to rebrand and manage the hotel’s eight social media channels.
This project’s goal was to highlight the destination through beautiful imagery and enhanced digital storytelling that aligned with our brand DNA - art, music, fashion, culinary, and cocktails. Today Fairmont Pacific Rim’s social media continues to grow and is frequently used as the shining example by our corporate office for best practices.
My Implemented Strategies:
• Curated storyboards and project manage quarterly photoshoots;
• Generated clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the Graphic Designer and Photographer;
• Managed all content creation, revisions, and retention across all social media platforms;
• Planned and executed the monthly content calendar to coincide with upcoming stories and special luxury offers;
• Worked cross-departmentally with our internal operations team and external creative agency to ensure project success;
• Identified target audience preferences and trends via social analytics monthly reporting;
• Used new creative, and designed, optimized, and managed monthly Facebook ad campaigns to increase web traffic and bookings to Fairmont.com.
